How different is 2020? Here are this year’s top 5…
- Exercise more
- Save money
- Eat a healthier diet
- Lose weight
- Reduce stress
But how many people actually succeed with their resolutions? That number varies from 7% to 19%. Not very many success stories. In fact, an individual often makes the same resolution(s) year after year and it’s in the second year that the success rate rises to 19%. Studies indicate that as many as 80% of New Year’s resolutions are history by the second week of February, and many people give up on their New Year’s resolutions somewhere between the 12th and 19th of January.
This post is not to talk you out of your resolutions. If you want to get fit, lose weight, adopt a healthier lifestyle, etc., I’m all for it. Do you want to decrease your risk of having a stroke, or developing dementia? No matter what it is, step one is to believe you can do it.
Awesome post! Keep up the great work! 🙂
